I forgive Gary Burr for writing the excrebable “Blue Sky” because he wrote classics like “It’s My Job” and “I Try To Think About Elvis”, and “Watch Me”.

I guess the sales of Sarah Buxton’s full length debut album weren’t enough to keep Lyric Street afloat. Oh well…
Emily West describes “Blue Sky” as a song that was inspired by her parent’s divorce, so it gets points for authenticity at least. I think its a fine song overall that will be completely ignored by AirHead Country Radio. She should’a gone with “Annie’s Gonna Get a New Gun” instead as its far more radio friendly, Keith Urban factor or not.
I wouldn’t mind “Rollin’ Through The Sunshine” with Crystal Hoyt by my side. Butter and Big Vinny not so much…
Trailer’s retouched album titles rate a “double hoot” this go round! Good stuff. I get the feeling Trailer is not a big Luke Bryan fan. Hmm…
I think that article about Miranda is very misleading! She actually stopped the show to make bets with her road band members on which gal would win the catfight! Its something she says she picked up from hanging around Martina McBride! (lol)

Uh, since when does Miley sing country music? Not surprised to see Lyric Street folded- they were terrible at promoting their acts not named Rascal Flatts. It’s too bad, but I guess money and success does wonderous things.
I think every label has an obligation to promote every artist- if you didn’t think they were worthy of your time and money, why would you sign them in the first place?
Glad to see the label is moving Rascal Flatts, but I was hoping they could move away from the Disney stigma. Who wants to be on a label with Miley?
Loved that Miranda video- if you’re gonna call a fan out that’s a classy (and humrous) way to do it. I’m begining to gain more and more respect for Miranda as time goes on.
