As for the new single at hand, I was in high school back in the early 1970's when the original by The Hollies hit the airwaves and I loved it. Sometimes its best not to mess with classics, but Clint does an okay job with this one and it might revive his career at Top 40 country radio. Anything that gets a fantastic traditional artist like Clint back on the mainstream country airwaves is alright by me. I'm the resident Aussie country music fan around these parts and wish you all could hear Laurel Edwards' cover of the early Linda Ronstadt hit "Different Drum" or Darren Coggan's cover of Van Morrison's "Brown Eyed Girl". When it comes to doing quality countrified covers of classic pop/rock hits, some Aussies really have a handle on it.....
