I have been hooked on Chris since I was old enough to listen to music. I saw him live years ago at the Rapid City Stock Show back when he sat on a barstool and sang, then saw him years later when he rode the mechanical bull and had fireworks in his show. Both were awesome. I was a fan of his long before he was famous. He authenticated western country music and was true to himself and his family. He truly was the KING!!May God be with you Chris, we love you!!

I have a few favorite, Look at You Girl: my husband wanted to have that played at our wedding.
Another favorite is Five Dollar Fine: I cried at the end of this video, I was laughing so hard!
My husband Ted has all of his albums. When I asked him why he liked Chris LeDoux songs so much, he stated that he sang songs that immitated his (Ted’s) own life.
Ted was pretty down when he heard Chris had passed away. I rarely see him in tears and that day he was so close! :(
My oldest daughter has gotten into his music and that is surprising considering most of the school is into “other” music.!!

lots i see are after the greats, for me, i was 15 and living in cowtown canada, and being home of the Calgary stampede, i was shocked that Chris had a song about the show, its on his greatest hits album and that still to the day is my favorite cd. i was too young to watch him ride in the 70’s but i heard stories from cowboys out of tx and around the time i was 6 i was chasin a dream that every cowboy chases. didnt ride any bulls or buck any horses like chris but i do rope a mean cattle. !!! so calgary stampede and all my heros have been cowboys are my favorite Songs.

Don’t forget the dvd of the videos too. That’s a nice addition and truly makes this a collection worth having, and I don’t say that about many ‘bonus DVDs’

Chris is one of them singers and people that you have to actually see and hear to get the true feeling of what he is about.

The one time I seen him in concert it was the best show I have ever seen anybody do. I have been to over 700 concerts too! His smooth sounding voice is also very soothing, and the words role off his tongue.

His songwriting as well is underrated and when you hear it you have a great understanding of the scene and what he’s trying to convey. Even if you have not been there or done that.

RIP chris ledoux! I will be buying this, and I rarely buy cd’s

When I was in college, Whatcha Gonna Do?, was a big hit on Tuesday nights at Paradise Club in DeKalb, IL. They played it late as usually filled the dance floor with the non-country dance people.
