I can’t for the life of me figure out why anyone would pity this incredible man. He’s got it all and he’s thankful for it.
I love his music, adore his songs, swoon over his voice…
My sister and I watch his videos over and over again just to dote over him.
(And nope, I’m not a kid.)

God’s blessed this man and it really comes through in all he does.

Rodney atkins is great seen him live he’s awsome. Invisibly shaken is great. Iv liked everyhing he’s done so far

His voice is atrocious, and “Invisibly Shaken” was a terrible performance. When you have all the technological advances at your disposal, including Auto Tune, and you STILL sound that bad on the album, that tells you something.

I find it hard go get into his music. His voice seems extremely limited to me and most of his songs seem to have an extra helping of cliches, even more so than most country. I really disliked “Its America.” And the people in “These Are My People” most definitely aren’t “my people.” I kinda liked “Cleaning This Gun” though but was sorta rooting for the dad to accidentally shoot himself.

Good interview. The music therapy thing was especially cool.

One note — he didn’t have four consecutive number ones. “Invisibly Shaken” (the best song on “If You’re …”), which peaked at #41, fell in the middle of that run.

I feel so bad for him. The National Council for Adoption is a very anti-adoptee and birthmother group who works only for adoption agencies. Most educated parents who adopt make sure their agency has nothing to do with the NCFA.

It’s a shame he has associated himself with such a negative group. I’ll pray he finds healing from his adoption issues.
