Karen, Carrie does play guitar but mainly just chords I think. I’ve seen her actually play it and there are times I think she’s so in the music that she forgets what she’s doing. She also plays piano although I don’t know if she is a “claw” or a “piano player”. Claw means again chords only..that’s what my U of L music professor would describe weak players.

I was extremely proud of Carrie getting the invitation to become a Grand Ole Opry Member she 100% deserved it, and I hope that one day SOON Sara Evans will receive that invitation because she also deserves it and I think she should’ve been invited long ago. I’d love to hear one day “Please Welcome To The Stage OPRY STAR SARA EVANS”

Nobody is threaten by Taylor Swift or Kellie Pickler. Wish both best of luck as both bring their own style even if they aren’t my cup of tea, especially TS. But others enjoy them so there is room for everybody, including Carrie. Glad Carrie was inducted into the Opry and she is here to stay :D

i love carrie underwood dont get me wrong, but she doesnt really play guitar does she? because at the concert it looked soooo fake! she just strums the same chord over and over on “get out of this town.” that’s just for show huh?

first of all let me say this.YOU ALL SOUND INCREDIBLY RIDDICULOUS,especially ashley (october 21) what the heck does being from pa have to do with being a great country singer? there are plenty of awesome country singers out there who arent from the south who have been around alot longer than carrie “miss Imfrom the south and grew up on a farm underwood” TAYLOR SWIFTS’ parents knew she had talent from a very small age and left PA for there daughter so she could pursue her dream for country music. She wasnt handed a ticket to American Idol and if the American Idol fans who voted for her knew then what we all know now about Miss “I dont wanna sign your autograph” i highly doubt she’d be where she is today. (I’M SO GLAD I’M A KENNY CHESNEY FAN) so miss ashley get off us pennsylvania girls and stop hating on taylor cuz she’s from pa and just admit that taylor is a great country singer no matter where she is from
