Ashton Shepherd deserves to with top new female vocalist hands down without a doubt. It irritates me to no end that she was put in the same category as Juilanna Hough…i mean seriously??

Re: Kenny’s Comments- I felt like he was acting like a high school boy bragging to his friends about how many women he slept with. Gross, and immature. Too much information Kenny. I lost alot of respect for him after that comment.I don’t really care what he does in his personal life, but I sure don’t want to know the intimate details of his sex life.

Re: the ACM Nominations- I would love it if Ashton Shephard won Best New Artist. She is hands down, the best new talent out there, male or female. I don’t mind Julianne Hough, but I don’t think she deserves to win this. She is ok, not a bad singer at all, but not in the same league as Ashton.

Just a Dream should have been nominated for Song or Single. I am not sure how it got left out, as it was one of the most successful songs on radio this year. Many of the songs on the list are weak, except for Johnny and June, which is a great song.

I was surprised that Darius Rucker was not nominated for Best New Male Artist. He is very talented and had a great year.

Julianne certainly has the chops for the “Top New Female Vocalist” award, but I don’t think she has any business being nominated for a country award. She’s all pop, even if it’s good pop.

Chesney was replying to a question posed by a Playboy interviewer…gimme a break. He answered honestly and now you don’t like his answer. He’s gotta be sick of the constant gay cloud over his head anyways.

I’m stunned that Julianne Hough got a nomination since there are so many other real country singers that deserved that honor. She just plays at singing and has now even tabled it to go back to her dancing reality show. Maybe when she starts acting like a fake, the fans will take her more seriously.
