Kid Rock amongst those to be honored in the Music City Walk of Fame.
—Once again a lame attempt by the powers that be to reach for what they view as legitimacy in the music world. Those in Nashville should dance with the ones that brought them. I am not saying Kid Rock is not a fantastic musical force, but NOT in country. He is a pop/rock act that has crossed over to the country bunch with a few acoustic based tunes. It is not his fault, but it seems like the only thing he did for the Nashville Music Community to start sucking his balls was buy a condo here and spend a few times a year here. Of course, the Nashville Music Row folks do that to every act that is more successful/creative than those they already have.

—-Not surprising. I am reminded of the opening “prayer” at the CRS New Faces Show a few years ago when it was asked, “Will Lyric Street break another act other than Rascal Flatts??” So far…looks like NO.

After reading a biography of Gram Parsons, I would 100% that Emmylou Harris is more badass then Blake Shelton. Anyone who could survive a relationship with someone that self destructive is a a total bad ass.

Its not that badasses don’t twitter, its just that they twitter about the badass things they actually did instead of twittering about how badass they are. Like when Miranda Twittered about buying a gun and a bikini at the same store–THAT was badass.
