the Entertainer of the Year award is respectfully given to Kenny Chesney, but I honestly can’t wait until Brad Paisley (and my own bias favorite) Keith Urban…in fact, I’m miffed and surprised at why KU has yet to receive that honor. I’ve seen shows both live, DVD, and Youtube snippets of the three and still feel content to KU decision.
To J.R. Journey: HA HA! Very funny! But I’m sure TM would rather forget that FANtasy incident as Hill reigns in her man.

Regarding: “Country music continues to lead other music genres on the radio airwaves with 2,024 stations, but it fell to the news/talk format as the most popular.” Well just wait for Chairman O. and his Democrat apparatchiks in Congress to revive the Orwellian “NewSpeak” style “Fairness Doctrine” for terrestial radio stations to drastically reduce conservative talk radio shows. I haven’t ever really seriously considered XM/Sirius, but if Rush Limbaugh winds up there I’d probably go for it…..

Its nice that Scott Borchetta is still supporting Danielle Peck’s career at Big Machine. Most any other label would have set her free by now.

Thanks for the link to the chat including Kitty Wells and Emmylou Harris. Kitty is not going to be around forever, so its good to hear any of her thoughts on country music.

i didnt get that vibe from the whole interview i guess, but the answers that dealt with his dad seemed to be a bit punk-like to me…

having said that, you know how jealous i am about not getting to see that show last night…
