Even though this recording doesn't feature any of Prine's brilliant song-writing ability, it's nice as a couple of old classic guys doing a decent job with some classic songs and having fun at the same time. I was shocked at the signing to begin with. She's a talented writer, good singer, but, and this could have led to the eventual 'drop', weight issues are weight issues. Not that SHE has an issue with her weight, but welcome to Nashville. I personally wasn't sold on her as an artists, but I do think she's a fantastic songwriter and will have a great career doing that if she chooses. Whitney on the other hand, goodlooking, blonde, sings, no weight at all... there ya go. With the information I've heard about Scott Hendricks running WB now, I'm not surprised - after all, Whitney COULD BE another Faith. Angela isn't a pretty girl, in the sense we've become accustomed to looking at as a 'star' - sorry.
