A Fresh New Look For The 9513
It’s been awful quiet around here lately, maybe a little too quiet, but that doesn’t mean we haven’t been busy. We’ve been tinkering away deep into the darkness of night for the past few weeks, laboring harder than any man should have to labor to create something far more sinister than you could ever imagine and it’s finally time to reveal it to the world. Muahahaha….
Ok, back to reality here. The truth is we have been pretty busy working on something special to celebrate The 9513’s first full year online. If you haven’t noticed, November 15 will mark year Numero Uno. The ides of November have come and gone, so we’ll just have to settle for something cool like “The 15th of November.” Anyways, we figured it was time for a change up around here, time to lose the diapers if you will, so if you’re reading this, you’ve probably already noticed the new look.
We’re hoping the new design will have a positive impact on The 9513 experience for everyone. It will allow us to highlight some of our better content, which will hopefully convert more visitors into regular readers. In order to make the sidebar more useful, we introduced some new elements, such as recent album reviews, and moved some of the lesser used features on to secondary pages. Let us know what you think, what you like, what you don’t like, and if there’s anything we can improve on in the next year. Be sure to stay tuned for an exciting giveaway after we catch a few winks.

I’m generally resistant to change but I can see that this will be good. I just have to get used to it.

I know changes can suck, Heidi, especially when you’re comfortable with the way something is. I’m the same way. We tried not to disrupt things too much while still making noticeable improvements. If you click on the “Blog” link at the top, it’s basically the same format as our old homepage, so you can bookmark that if you like. Thanks for the feedback, though.
