If Jamey Johnson doesn’t win album of the year I want some justification for the winner. Hands down That Lonesome Song is the best country album of the past year.

For once, I’m somewhat excited about an awards show after seeing a preview of some of the performances. Thank goodness for the mute button though for a couple of them!

Here are my picks:
Entertainer: Brad Paisley
Male Vocalist: Brad Paisley
Female Vocalist: Lee Ann Womack
Group: Lady Antebellum, even tho RF probably will get it :(
Duo: Montgomery Gentry…but will prob go to Sugarland
Top New Artist: Ehh…after Jamey lost in the fan voted round, I lost interest
Album: That Lonesome Song – Jamey Johnson
Single: In Color – Jamey Johnson
Song: In Color – Jamey Johnson…I will giggle when I see “Big Gassed Hitties” as a publisher of the song. :)

Here’s my question…why the heck do they do an orange carpet?? That is probably the worst color that doesn’t match anything anyone is wearing.
