Definitely dig the Miranda Lambert video…Jamey Johnson being preacher man is telling and the best choice. Ms. Lambert has more of my respect and eye out now.

Listening to Miranda’s CD to right now. I absolutely love “The House that Built Me”. I think this is going to be another Album of the year winner for her. I was listening to David Nails CD too. Not bad for a first CD. One song skips and thought darn, store won’t take it back since I opened it so glad it’s on a song that’s so so.

AS for Videos: Carrie’s is Fantastic! Miranda’s is fun! I still don’t understand Sugarland’s video yet. I may get boo’d here but I really love Kenny’s song “I’m Alive”. It’s beautiful.

I bagged a Lam Mir in 1947 when I was on a six month sabbatical touring the Archipelago. The steamboat chef boiled the Lam Mir meat until it was falling off the bone, and then served it in a white wine brine with hints of rosemary.

Of course, this was all well before the LamMir’s numbers were threatened by a human-to-tree-dwelling-bipedal-rodent strain of typhoid, and the Lam Mir was placed on the endangered species list.

-I’m really bored of the fan nicknames. Just me, I know. And Razor – Reckon Scott Adams of Dilbert fame, might have a lawsuit case against “RanBert” :)

-Jamey Johnson is God, so seeing him do the Preacher role is fitting.

-Have always considered “Life’s A Dance” to be one of the most important songs in my development as a Country fan.
