I suppose if Pickler didn't cry every single time she sang that song, I would be more moved by the performance of it. In just about every review or article I have read about her performance of the song, there is a mention of her choking up or crying in it. I understand that these are deep emotions that she's feeling, but I doubt that it is sincere that she cries each and everytime she sings the song. Perhaps I'm being too cynical..

How would Tracy Lawrence's label try to yank the collaboration when it's HIS label? Wasn't that Chesney's label that tried to kill "Friends"?

This website and lots of the people commenting on these articles seem to be against Carrie Underwood. It's nearly ridiculous. I can understand having your own personal likes/dislikes, but lots of the comments made are uncalled for. Carrie did earn all of her successes, and to say otherwise is ridiculous. Also, she looked great last night! Oh and the forced smile comment and saying she was "cold as can be" are not even true. And she certainly isn't haughty!

Having only watched them both on TV - Underwood and Pickler, Kellie had a much better stage presence from the start.

Carrie Underwood has made great strides as a performer. I saw her in the summer of 2006 and she was absolutely horrible, no stage presence whatsoever. She still isn't among the genre's best entertainers, but she's improved significantly and can now at least put on a show that justifies the ticket price and is commensurate with her album sales and chart accomplishments. I haven't seen Pickler outside of television performances so I can't comment, though I doubt that she is must better than Underwood.

And she might learn a thing or two about performing. I have to say that Pickler, silly as she may be, is showing more progression in that area than Underwood.

actually, if Carrie Underwood started playing real country sets in Honky Tonks alongside her arena gigs, I think that I, for one, would gain much more respect for her as a country artist.

"Let’s hope Underwood took the hint."

What would that entail? Should she start singing in honky-tonks now instead of arenas?
