I'm sorry if you took my comment seriously, Mr. Malec; the "smiley" emoticon was intended to reflect non-serious intent.

Take, for example, the lack of such an emoticon in this reply. That's how you know this apology's genuine... though obviously quite condescending.

[...] 12 Questions With Jimi Westbrook from Little Big Town: “A kind of humorous thing you might not know is that on one of the tracks there is some really crazy instrumentation. On the title cut, Karen actually played a 1979 Coleman cooler…” — Jimi Westbrook “Best record of last year, best record of this year.” — Chris N. “LBT is hands down, no question my favorite band. It continues to amaze me every time I go to a concert of theirs that I’m one of a handful of people who know more than “Boondocks,” or much less are at the very least rocking out. I’ve long since thought that they have never received the attention they deserve, but maybe it’s better (for me, at least) that way!” — Glads Gal [...]

I'm sure that "12 Questions with Jimi Westbrook" would have enticed a lot of readers.

Of course, I could have written the headline as:

"12 Questions with Jimi Westbrook of Little Big Town," but I thought that a little long.

And if we're going for accuracy, how about:

"12 Questions with Jimi Westbrook, Vocalist And Sometimes-Guitarist For The Pop-Country Quartet Little Bog Town."

Twelve questions with 1/4 of Little Big Town, you mean... which is equivalent to Three questions with Little Big Town. :-)

LBT is hands down, no question my favorite band. It continues to amaze me every time I go to a concert of theirs that I'm one of a handful of people who know more than Boondocks, or much less are at the very least rocking out. I've long since thought that they have never received the attention they deserve, but maybe it's better (for me, at least) that way!

I just hope that they realize how that their fans ARE aware of their amazing gifts and talent and that we greatly appreciate the job they do.

Beyond all that gushing I've just done, I inadvertently had the chance one night to meet them after they performed a "free" concert for Toys for Tots here in Georgia, in Kimberly's hometown no less, and they were the most gracious, accommodating, and humble people I've ever met. The best part is, they've remained that way.

...I'll stop now. This board's going to get a cavity.

Very good interview! I remember when I first got A Place To Land, I saw the cooler in the liner notes, and I was very confused. xD

Personally, I like A Place To Land better than The Life Of A Song (Joey + Rory), but many of the songs on J+R's album have much more emotional weight, such as "To Say Goodbye". LBT's album has more to do with emotions than stories, but they are both stellar albums.

I was also surprised by the quality of the re-release's extra tracks, I love "Love Profound" and "Good Lord Willing", so it shows promise for them on their new label deal.

Its nice to see a group like Little Big Town be so successful so quietly and slipping back onto the charts again. I hope they are as successful with this album as the last but only make alot more noise with it and of course their "COOLER KICK DRUM"
Great job on the interview as always
