Miracle on 34th Street. I had to be in New York around Christmas a few years ago, and Macy’s on 34th Street reminded me of the movie. New York is wonderful at Christmas time, and I love the movie.

Since I can’t say It’s A Wonmderful Life I am going to have to say A Muppet’s Christmas Carol. At the risk of sounding like a Victorian Lit geek, it really is the only version that attepmpts to capture the poverty and grittines of Victorian England instead of having fat, well dressed urchins.

No No Contest. It has to be “Christmas Vacation”. Not only one of the best Christmas movies of all time, but as well as one of the best comedies of all time. My favorite part is when Cousin Eddy is empptying the crapper in the middle of the street.

I also love “Charlie Brown Christmas” no matter how sad it is.
